Yung Kong Metal Works Co Bhd (YKMW) has been in the steel wire production business for 44 years. It started as a small factory along Abell Road, Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia in 1963. It initially starts of with producing Chain-Link Fencing, Barbed Wire and Welding Works. Since then, it had introduced several products: GI Welded Mesh, Yung Kong Reinforcement Concrete (YMC & YRC), Hot Dipped GI Wire, PVC Coated Wire, Bolts & Nuts, Mild Steel Bars, CQ Bar, Hard Drawn Wire, Stirrup, Steel Strapping, Annealing Wire, High Tensile Ribbed Wire & Ribbed Bar etc. Today, its products are well distributed in Sarawak.
